The 110th holds a significant place in history, as it marked its 100th anniversary in the Missouri Air National Guard on 23 June 2023.

Lindbergh's Own has been an integral part of the Missouri Air National Guard. Throughout its existence, the 110th has been involved in vital missions, training exercises, and operations that have showcased its dedication to serving both state and nation.

One notable chapter in the squadron's history involves its connection to aviation legend Charles Lindbergh. Lindbergh, who achieved fame for his solo nonstop flight across the Atlantic, was a member of the 110th, before gaining international acclaim.

Over the years, the 110th has adapted to many military aviation roles. From its early days of observation aircraft, to flying tactical fighter aircrat, and to its current role employing the B-2 stealth bomber. The squadron's ability to evolve demonstrates its commitment to maintaining a high level of operational readiness.

As the 110th commemorates its centenial, it pays tribute to the brave airmen who have served in its ranks. The squadron's legacy is a testament to its resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the skies and defending the nation.
